Opening its doors in September 2022, the daycare “SEA EIMAB” will welcome all the children from the primary cycle of the International School of Mersch “Anne Beffort”.

The school and daycare center is well located, close to the bus station of Mersch, right across from the “Lycée technique pour professions éducatives et sociales” (LTPES) and the “Ermesinde” high school.

The main task of the daycare is to look after children outside of school periods. This non-formal education offer is mainly aimed at the commitment and cooperation of the children in their personal development. The main goal is to develop their personal strengths while identifying their talents and interests.

Activity

The SEA is open every day from 7:00 am to 7:00 pm outside school hours. It is integrated into the school building, making it easy to move between the school and the daycare.

A balanced and varied meal is served every day, taking into account the nutritional value and particularities of each child (diet, allergies, etc.).

Help with Homework is offered every day of the week, in collaboration with the primary school teachers. We offer a quiet and pleasant place where children can do their homework, with information and teaching material at their disposal. They can work independently or be supported by any member of staff if necessary.

Each room has a different function allowing activities such as: arts and creativity, psychomotricity, relaxation and reading, construction games, music and dance, board games, food and snacks.

SEA Registration

All children in the primary cycle who have received confirmation of their enrolment at the EIMAB can enrol in the SEA. Invoicing is done according to the service voucher system “chèque-service-accueil” (CSA). The CSA card must be renewed every year.

During school term

Monday to Friday from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m., outside school hours.

During school vacations

Monday to Friday from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m., without interruption.
We offer regular activities such as field trips, walks, cooperation with local associations, sports clubs and visits to attractions or sites in Luxembourg and the Greater Region.

SEA closing periods

All legal holidays.
The SEA remains closed on weekends and closes its doors at 2pm on December 24th and 31st.
