Maison Relais – EIMAB (EN)

Presentation

Opened in September 2022, SEA EIMAB is intended for primary school students at the International School of Mersch “Anne Beffort”.

Located near Beringen, behind the Mersch bus station, SEA EIMAB is directly integrated into the school building, close to the “Lycée technique pour professions éducatives et sociales” (LTPES) and the “Ermesinde” secondary school.

This proximity allows children to move easily between the school and SEA EIMAB and helps create continuity throughout the different parts of their day.

The SEA EIMAB facilities are designed to meet the needs and interests of the children. They provide opportunities to relax, play, take part in different activities, do homework or simply spend time together.

Our educational approach

At SEA EIMAB, we aim to provide children with an environment where they feel comfortable, confident and free to develop their independence.

We place great importance on children’s choices and initiatives. Within the framework provided, they can decide how they would like to spend their time and choose activities that match their interests and preferences.

This freedom allows them to experiment, discover their abilities, take on responsibilities and gradually develop their self-confidence.

Our educators accompany the children with care and respect throughout their day. They are available to support, guide and assist them when needed, while respecting their need for independence.

Our goal is to create an environment that is safe, stimulating and respectful, where every child can grow at their own pace and learn to find their place within the group.

A space for homework

After school, children who wish to do their homework have access to a quiet and suitable space.

Educators are available to support them when needed, while encouraging children to work independently and develop their own ways of organising their work.

Regular communication with the school’s teaching team also helps ensure continuity in the children’s support and allows us to respond to their individual needs as effectively as possible.

Meals

At lunchtime, children are provided with a balanced meal supplied daily by Restopolis. A snack is also provided in the afternoon.
The menus can be viewed at any time on the Restopolis website (Menu & Réservation).
