We invited our parents to an “Afternoon Tea” event on June 12, 2026, within the toddler group.
This event is intended to welcome the new children and to say goodbye to those who are moving on to another group.
In preparation, we considered which English specialties we could offer the parents.
We quickly came up with the idea of offering a selection of teas, such as rose tea, Earl Grey, and French mint.
As a main course, we planned traditional British sandwiches, for example with cucumber and sour cream or egg mayonnaise.
For a sweet treat, we baked banana bread and blueberry muffins in advance together with our participants.
Our in-house chef also agreed to prepare a carrot and zucchini cake for the event.
Several parents also volunteered to actively participate in organizing the event. For example, one mother offered to help prepare the various desserts, while another parent contributed to decorating the toddler group space.
We will also serve a variety of jams, such as strawberry jam.
A lively exchange between parents and educational staff will take place, accompanied by British culinary specialties.
