Friday 12th July 2024, Babbeltiermchen had its summer party.
As every year, we had a barbeque, drinks, dessert, music and a photo box.
However, this year we prepared a little surprise for the parents.
As the summer party not only marked the end of the academic year, but also the end of our project revolving around the farm theme, we prepared a little show with the children. One of the educators was the storyteller, reciting the story of a cat who walks around the farm and visits some animals. We had a group of children playing little ducks that waddled when the cat, played by an educator, came by. We had a group of children playing rabbits that hopped around to receive a carrot from the cat. We had a group of children playing horses that galloped around and finally we had a group of children playing cows walking around and drinking water.
The show was a great success! The children participated even better than expected and the parents were delighted to see what their little ones had been practicing for weeks.
Overall, it was a great party with a good atmosphere and a lot of conversations and laughs.
