Febuary 2nd the children from Babbeltiermchen participated in Luxembourg’s tradition of going “liichten”.
Accompanied by the educators, who beforehand had planned a route through Limpertsberg, the children walked around holding their self-made lanterns on a lightstick. Once arrived at the pre-selected houses of some of the parents, the children started singing “léiwer Herrgottsblieschen” which they had rehearsed for weeks. In return the they received some treats which consisted of some snackbars, biscuits and one family even made fresh crêpes!
